Background Information

This project is a challenge for you to construct a "car" powered by the elastic potential energy stored in the spring of a small mouse trap. Look over the designs of others using the links provided. This list is not exhaustive. The design of your car is up to you. The minimum requirement is a vehicle that travels a minimum of 10 meters. Be creative.

By Friday, November 18th, you should have a pretty good idea as to the type of car you would like to build. Over the break we should be looking for specific materials. We want to get started on these after Thanksgiving. We will only be allotting certain days for construction and testing. Final race day will be determined at a later date.
