This website was designed to provide both student and parent with open access to material presented in the classroom. The goal is to upload the active classroom material(i.e. current lessons, videos, projects, and worksheets) in a timely fashion.
The science curriculum will follow guidelines outlined by the Ohio Department of Eduction. That entire publication can be found at the ODE website. The homepage header provides tabs for each scientific discipline. The left panel on each discipline page displays a current lessons, OGT review lessons, and a directory section with links to all powerpoints and relevant videos. Webquests, future research projects, and study aids are also represented.
It is anticipated that by mid-July, students with have an opportunity to use Moodle. The term Moodle is an acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment. It is open source software that helps educators get students to begin to collaborate and interact using discussion forums, glossary development, and even wikis. Clicking on the logo will get you to a test page, created to test functionality.
